Important: Not all server locations support ignoring DMCA complaints. If a DMCA notice is received in a region where DMCA enforcement applies, clients are required to respond promptly to avoid VPS suspension.
2. Prohibited Activities
Even in DMCA-ignored locations, the following activities are strictly prohibited and will result in immediate suspension without refund:
- Phishing: Any activity designed to steal sensitive data (e.g., login credentials, financial information).
- Fraud or Scam Hosting: Including but not limited to banking scams, investment fraud, or misleading financial content.
- Malware Distribution: Hosting or spreading any kind of malicious software, including viruses, spyware, or ransomware.
3. Hosting Copyrighted Content
DMCA primarily protects works such as:
- Movies and TV shows
- Music and audio files
- Software applications
- Books and digital publications
If a DMCA notice is issued, clients must confirm if their server location qualifies as DMCA-ignored. In qualified locations, certain allowances may apply, but responsibility still lies with the client to ensure compliance with regional rules.
4. Abuse Report Handling
In general, DMCA complaints in ignored locations are not acted upon. However, in rare cases where the data center demands action:
- We will notify the client about the specific URL or content in question.
- Clients are expected to cooperate and remove the offending content when requested.
- As long as clients comply, no suspension will occur for DMCA-related issues in ignored regions.
5. Client Responsibilities
- Compliance Check: Ensure your content adheres to legal standards based on your server location.
- Valid Contact Info: Provide accurate email and phone information so we can reach you in case of policy or abuse issues.
- Self-Monitoring: Regularly audit your content to avoid unintentional copyright or policy violations.
