Shared Hosting & VPS Server Usage Policy

I. Description

To ensure high server performance and fair access, HostingUp has defined specific resource limits for shared hosting plans. Abuse is not limited to exceeding limits; HostingUp may determine abuse at its discretion. This policy applies to shared and reseller hosting users.

II. Purpose

The goal is to protect users from performance disruptions. If limitations may affect your website’s functionality, contact HostingUp support for advice or alternative plans.

III. Restrictions

  • Backup: Only one backup instance allowed per account. Hosting accounts are not backup vaults.
  • Reselling: Not allowed on shared plans. Use Reseller plans for client hosting.
  • Adult Content: Not permitted on the HostingUp network.
  • Web Applications: Must be regularly updated and secured. Spam protection (e.g., CAPTCHA) required on user-input apps. Remote site services or backup storage use is prohibited.
  • Cron Jobs: No hard time limit, but heavy usage can exhaust resources. Monitor closely.
  • Email Use: Spamming is banned. No third-party mailing lists. All emails must support SMTP, include unsubscribe links, and must not use PHP mail().
  • SSH Access: Limited to specific shared plans. VPS/dedicated users receive full root access.

IV. Account Suspension

Violations may result in immediate account suspension. HostingUp may suspend or terminate accounts without prior notice and without refunds for policy breaches.

Usage Notes: If you regularly hit the maximum limits, HostingUp may suggest upgrades. VPS/dedicated servers enjoy full access to their isolated resources. Track usage inside your cPanel → Resource Usage panel.

We strive to provide a safe, secure, and productive environment for all users. Please read this policy carefully to understand the acceptable and prohibited uses of our hosting services.

General Terms

  • Account Suspension: Any user engaging in activities that violate this policy will have their VPS suspended immediately without prior notice. Repeated offenses or severe abuse may lead to account termination without refund.
  • Prohibited Activities: The following activities are strictly prohibited across all plans:
    • Distribution or hosting of illegal content (e.g., pirated software, viruses, malware).
    • Engaging in activities that violate any local, national, or international law.
    • Spamming, phishing, or hosting spam-related services.
    • Conducting any illegal or abusive activity that can harm other users or the server network.

Our VPS Plans & Usage Restrictions

1. Telegram Filter Bot Hosting VPS

Allowed Usage: This plan is specifically designed for hosting lightweight bots such as Telegram filter bots, file stream bots, filestore bots, and other small-scale bots that do not involve heavy downloading or uploading.

Note: Not all types of bots are permitted. Only low-resource, low-traffic bots are allowed on this plan. Heavy or resource-intensive bots are not supported.

Prohibited Activities: Hosting of leech bots, or any bot distributing unauthorized or illegal content, is strictly prohibited.

Consequences: Violation of these rules will result in immediate suspension of the VPS without prior notice.

2. Special Bot Hosting VPS

Allowed Usage: This plan supports a wider range of bots, including Telegram bots, Discord bots, WhatsApp bots, and other custom bots. It is ideal for bots that do not generate high download or upload traffic.

Note: While more flexible than the Filter Bot plan, this VPS is still not suitable for leeching or heavy file-transfer bots.

Prohibited Activities: Hosting of leech bots, abusive scripts, or any type of illegal content or service is strictly forbidden.

Consequences: Any violation will result in immediate VPS suspension without prior notice or refund.

3. Mirror Leech Bot Hosting VPS

Allowed Usage: This plan is specially designed for hosting mirror leech bots and other high-resource or heavy-use bots. It supports all types of bots, including those that require significant bandwidth and processing power.

Note: This is the most flexible plan for bot hosting. However, users are still expected to comply with all legal and ethical standards.

Prohibited Activities: Hosting of adult content, government-restricted or banned content, or any kind of illegal material is strictly prohibited.

Consequences: Any violation will result in immediate suspension of the VPS without prior notice or eligibility for refund.

4. Cloud VPS

Allowed Usage: Comes with a dedicated IP, ideal for stable and isolated workloads.

Prohibited Activities: Spamming, abuse, or illegal hosting will result in suspension.

Consequences: Immediate suspension of the VPS and IP address.

5. Windows RDP Plans

Allowed Usage: Designed for accessing a remote desktop environment on Windows OS.

Prohibited Activities: Linux is not supported. Illegal use of RDP is strictly prohibited.

Consequences: Immediate VPS suspension in case of misuse.

General Abuse Policies

  • Monitoring: We actively monitor all VPS servers to detect any abuse or illegal activity.
  • Suspension: We reserve the right to suspend any VPS without prior notice for policy violations. Minor issues may get a warning, but major or repeated violations lead to termination.
  • No Refund: Suspensions due to abuse or policy violations are not eligible for refunds.
